Won't POST with AGP video cards, but works fine with PCI ones
I've got a small issue here with the motherboard in my computer (in sig, Gigabyte 7VT600P-RZ). It seems to boot up just fine with PCI video cards in it, however it won't POST at all with AGP cards, it won't beep either.
What happened: I was using the card, and suddenly the computer froze. Then I rebooted, and there was all this garbage on the screen (lots of unusual ASCII characters all over the screen on boot up). After a few reboots, it wouldn't boot at all.
I have tried other cards in this machine, with no luck. The video card in question seems to work in another motherboard, also.
Has anyone got any idea on what could be wrong?
I'd be the village idiot, but that spot is already taken.
Note to self: No-one cares about your system specs
