I am thinking of buying the Acer Aspire 3002LMi, I have noticed that it comes with the hard drive already partitioned into two sections, does this matter?

The full size of the hard drive is 80gb, would the computer run any better with the hard drive re-formatted back to a single section or to continue as two separate partitions?

What are the pros and cons of partitioning of an 80gb hard drive on a laptop?

Help would be appreciated.
