    Lost My Radio

a friend recently updated my computer with Norton and since then I cannot get my baseball games or any other radio on Windows Media. Since he's safely back home he told me to contact you people for some help.
When I log on to go to listen to a game everything works as before except now instead of saying connecting with % accumulation it goes right to ready but no sound.
Trying just the radio on Media I recieved this message; "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the URL dialogue box trying using a different transport protocol (two examples).
Sorry but I have no idea where I need to change this?
Also twice in the last week while on line the machine has gone down and rebooted itself.
    Any help?
