    Unhappy ZoneAlarm upgrade splats again - BoneAlarm!

    I always cringe when the ZoneAlarm Automatic upgrade box appears. I've been putting this last one off for 6 months to a year. It generally takes 3 install attempts to get it installed or working without a 10 minute (slight exageratn') system freeze.
    I went for it.
    ZoneAlarm 6.0.667.000
    On reboot it powered up and I got the Blue Screen of much written death that left as quickly as I could read 2 words on it.
    It rebooted several times like that.

    I interrupted.

    I then did the clean install.
    Blue screen of much written death again....

    I suppose it's time to move on to a Firewall that has real programmers in the Upgrade dept.
    Is the MS Firewall that comes with XP any good?

    Has anyone had this problem, and know what's happening and how to get around it. I have Norton too if that helps.
