    ASUS V-3800 Agp card problem

    i have ASUS V-3800 AGP4X(32 MB) with svideo in , svideo out
    card and i am using window xp pro Sp2.with asus p4sp-mx motherboard,512mb of ram, dell E771a monitor
    when i check the the card in asus control program
    it show only agp bus is 2x
    i switched 4x in bios
    and again in asus AGP utility
    nothing changed
    i don't know why 4x card only run in 2x
    please advice how to get 4x speed
