MSI 845Pro (MS06529) trouble...
I have a MSI 645 Pro (MS6529) which is not showing anything on the screen while booting. The screen stays blank. I tried reseating the video card and memory, no help. This board has 4 LED's inside against the I/O ports, I believe they are some kind of diagnostic LED's. I can not download the manual from MSI, it is not working. So I cant't figure out if this would give me a clue to the source of the problem.
When I turn on the master power switch from the rear power supply the machine start booting, I get nothing on the screen, fans running and you begin to hear the HDD spinning, then nothin. Blank screen. The LED's from top to bottom show RED-GREEN-RED-GREEN. The monitor acts like nothing is connected to it. Since I did not have a matching AGP video card to test, I tried a PCI video card as well and same result.
After about 10 minutes of just sitting there running, I hear a wave-off siren type of tone comming from the PC speaker. I have to turn the master power switch off because holding the normal power button for 4-6 seconds does not turn the machine off.
Any thought as to the problem?
Running P4 CPU
Windows Home Edition
Thanks.....
Does anyone know the error codes for these LED's?
