Nvidia video driver 91.31 whql
I downloaded the latest chipset and video drivers from nvidia and I have had issues with the newest video driver
upon every boot up I get the message that SLI has been disabled since I only have on gforce 7900gt, I get this meaage every time a start the computer or restart and it is annoying
( Good for nvidia sells I guess )
Currently I am running these components
Gigabyte mobe ga-kxnxp-sli with six phase power circuit
SLI switch set to single card mode
Athlon 64 3500+ Venice core ( single core )
Zalman cpu cooler
Corsair XMS 2 gigs
Gigabyte gforce 7900 gt pcie ( One card )
Sound blaster xfi extreme music
Dual Plextor 760a ( Each is set as master, one on primary channel, one on secondary )
WD 250 gig sata hard drive
floppy drive
Enermax liberty 620 watt psu
Thermal take armr case with fans ( nice and big like a battlestar )
Nothin over clocked, nothing getting hot , I just get that nagging message with the 91.31 drivers
or are they trying to sale me another card
I got this error on my Asus a8n-sli premuim so I know it is not my board
I have run the prime 95 tests on the cpu over night and memtest, this system is solid
I think nvidia is slipping when it comes to new drivers, I hate that new control panel, Windows has one , why do I need another
I have reverted back to the 84.21s and the message no longer nags me
Maybe I'll wait and see if nvidia learns to write drivers again
Format c I'm givin er all she's got cap'in !!! )
