Our maintenance shops here use an app called MP2. Has anyone had any experience with this? All I know about it is that each user has an ID to log into the app and there's an SQL server hiding somewhere in San Antonio that the app connects to. It seems nobody in our company really supports this monster.
On one of the client PCs, barcodes printed out have an extra character on them. It seems logical enough...inventory tags have an I at the end of the barcode, workorders have a W and equipment barcodes get an E. That would really make sense, if our system was set up that way in the first place. Any barcodes that PC prints are worthless now.
The PC next to it is fine. I compared all of the very few settings I could find, checked the registry (only had version numbers, license code and program location) and even copied the whole program directory from the working PC to the hosed one. The user that's having the problem can log on to the other PC and it works just fine.
