Winxp hung after installing raid card
Hi i've encountered this problem whereby when a silicon image ata raid card sil-680a is connected to a cdrom or hdd it will hang at the winxp bootup screen. (But it is able to boot into windows when the raid card is not connected to any device)
However the raid card can boot connected to the same cdrom on another system.
It seems winxp hung while performing NTDETECT but the device connected to the raid controller can be detected successfully by the card itself.
Thks for any info
I'm running winxp sp2 wif a gigabyte mobo
