A day earlier than expected, EA has released a single-player demo for Crysis, allowing you try out the sci-fi FPS by Crytek. The massive 1.8 GB file contains the first level from the game along with a version of the game's Sandbox level editor.

NVIDIA has released
a new ForceWare beta drivers for its various GeForce video chips (6x, 7x and 8x series). They are available for Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition/Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Vista 32-bit, and Windows Vista 64-bit. The new drivers offer compatibility fixes for several games and applications, and the beta is described as the 'Recommended driver for Crysis single player game demo.' BTW: For those wondering, no, there drivers do not come with support for the GeForce 8800 GT.
