[RESOLVED] Convert to ntfs
Windows xp service pack 2. Customer used command line to convert c drive from fat32 to ntfs. The computer restarted and ran a chkdsk. It was taking hours, so they went home for the day. Don't know if chkdsk completed, and the volume was converted to ntfs or not. Now the drive cannot be read. Disk management shows the partition, as basic, but not whether it is fat 32 or ntfs. Clicking on it in My Computer, receives the following reply: F:\is not accessable. The directory is corrupt and unreadable.
Any way to fix this? Recover any files??
