I'm sure many of you are familiar with the MPAA vs. Thomas case. Jammie Thomas is facing a $222,000 fine for allegedly making 24 songs available for download via Kazaa. The MPAA has no direct evidence that any of the songs were actually downloaded by anyone, but they claim they don't need it.
