DVD+-RW reads but stopped writing/burning
Hello... I am not technoplaegic by any means, but I am sending up a flare in pure frustration... I hope you can help me out... I have a Dell Latitude D620. I am using the Windows XP Pro OS. I havea TSSTcorp DVD+-RQ TS-L632D drive/burner... I noted that for the longest time, I had no issues with the drive. It would playback DVD's or CD-Roms without any problems... then, I believe I did an update of somekind or added software to view DVD's and now, Windows does not allow me to copy any files to CD and I get error messages. I have tried using other software to burn (VLC Media Player, DeepBurn) and everything says that the burn process has completed, but then I go to check the CD and I don't have any data... when copying files using Windows drag and drop, I would get error messages once the process started asking if I wanted to skip files etc. - - - I have cleared filters which helped with noise I was experiencing during DVD playback, but now I can't figure out this inability to burn/copy data. I really need this functionality back! So, again ---- TECHIE FLARE being sent up as I am STRESSED!!! Thanks in advance!
