It might be that the computers aren't even looking for a new lease until they are scheduled to. I suggest that you go to the start button, type CMD in the command box, and then type "ipconfig /release" and then type "ipconfig /renew" and you should be good, according to both my faulty memory and the local server guy here. Remember that there is a space between the ipconfig command and the forward slash. Good luck!
