One of the Logitech's I own has a little compartment on the underside that opens like a battery compartment and has space for the weights. Mine uses short, cylindrical slugs, but it's the same principal. I like the feature. Lightweight generic mice always feel really cheap, so I like being able to adjust the mouse to a weight my wife and kids like.
