I have a PC Chips M590 m/b with 8 meg onboard AGP and sound and 32 meg ram. Problem is getting color above 16 colors and resolution above 640-480. I have installed the latest drivers for the 6236 8 meg AGP and the IDE and IRQ routing. Using windows 98 with updates. I attempt to change the color or resolution it begins to re-start windows and then the screen changes like it will start then nothing. The HD even stops and nothing happens and I have to re-boot and it goes into safe mode and go into settings and video and hit apply because it defaults to 16 colors and 640-480. Please help.
