Detect & Repair Util in Offce2K worth it?
I was having a few problems with my office lately: random problems here and there and saw the detect repair utlity that comes with Office 2000. Has anyone tried this before? Is it worth it or just more inflating software from Gates?

This little untility fixed a minor issue I had with Outlook. There is a small problem in that it does not always work once the SP's have been applied.

We have + - 200 users on office 2K and I really dig the detect and repair utility. It won't fix everything, but it fixes a LOT of problems that nag at users (and thus nag at me.) It is absolutely worth a try.

I've had good success on my customers computers. At least give it a try, worst case is it doesn't work.

same thing here. we use the detect and repair first befor ewe try any other office fix. It does not fix everything, but it doesn't hurt to try it. It's kinda like a mini- re-install without the re-install.

Hi All,
Office 2K Detect and Repair is an awesome part of Office.
If it can't fix the problem. Then reinstall Office.
Why didn't they bring this out earlier.
The Detect and repair is a esential part of trouble shooting Office problems
