HP LaserJet 4Plus

HP LaserJet 4Plus prints fine in windows, but when printing from any other environment it goes to manual feed. Any suggestions. This printer is hooked up to a HP Jetdirect box.

well you could smack it around and do the technical tap sometimes helps but it seems you need the compatiblity to run in the other enviroments there are software updates that allow you to achieve this

Thanks for the sugestion, but it was not the software causing the problem, it was the printer itself. There is a setting on the printer that was set to manual feed, but when windows would print the print setting from within windows would change it to the paper tray.
