    Angry UPS Problem

On Monday I ordered a shipment of a couple of computer parts that I needed on Thursday. For this reason I checked out UPS's weebsite and found that their UPS Ground Service would take three days and get here by thursday so I used that to save my customer some money. Well its Friday now and my order has been reschedualed four times and delayed over 30 hours now. From my last check my package is still in Washington and I live in Texas. Does UPS service always blow like this or have I just been screwed for some unknown reason? Also if any one has any helpful ideas, like how to get a refund out of them because they say they don't guarantee shipments to home and they forgot to mention this on there web page, please let me know.

Our company uses UPS every day and rarely has a problem like the one you mentioned. Sometimes when there is a problem like that, it can be because of unusual circumstances. We had a shipment lost once because it flew off a truck that was in a wreck. As far as refunds, they only guarantee the Next Day / Second Day services.

P.S. EVERY time you try to save your customer money, YOU will get nailed!!!

We use UPS all the time and believe it or not most of the time when we've had stuff come in late, it's been a problem with the distributor not UPS. They aren't perfect however! Although if it is them, unless it's unusual circumstances like said above it's only a day or two. I do agree with above though, If you try and save the customer money a lot of times it's you that gets burned!!!

    Cool

    Hey Guys,

I have to go along with Shard. Most of my shipping problems originate with the distributer. It always amazes me that I can buy parts from two suppliers in the same town ( Chicago ) and have one supplier get them to me next day and the other supplier takes a week. AND BOTH US UPS!!!

I never have any problems with UPS. I generally receive delivery the next day. Even from suppliers on the east coast.
