Installation of Norton Antivirus Corporate edition
Is it possible to install Norton antivirus Corporate edition on client machines that are not on your network, then plug them into your network after the installation? I want the clients to be managed by the server, but I'm not sure I can do it this way. Do I need the client to connect to the server during the installation?
We are taking our network down for one week to do some serious maintenance, and would like to install NAV corporate at that time.
Does anyone know if this is posible?

Yip, no problem. Only thing is that you will have to install them as 'un-managed' at the time, meaning that you will not specify a parent server. Once the server comes back online, you will need to change the status of the clients from 'unmanaged' to 'managed'.

Thanks for the help. That is kind of what I was afraid of, I have 700 clients I need to install this on. I will have about ten people helping with the project, but was hopeing not to have to hit each machine twice.
