Resolved [RESOLVED] DATA RECOVERY info needed....

Our comapny has decided to start offering some data revocery solutions for our customers, and my boss has assigned me the task of locating as many different software packages for this, as well as pricing information from companies that do data recovery (for price comparassin)

If it is not topo much trouble, please list any software you have used or heard of for data recovery, as well as any webnlinks for software demos, as well as companies that do data recovery.

Yes, i am looking all over the internet myself to locate as many as I can, but would appreciate any info any of you have
    Thanks.....

    Joe

I have used this software with success. I like it and it's not too expensive.

Spinrite is very good recovery programm in case of bad sectors occured on harddrive...
    Excellent util!
However...I've seen few harddrives completely damaged after using Spinrite5...
All depends on severity of HDD failure...
If You need program for data recovery after software crash,Tiramitsu may be very handy.
    Also "Lost and Found" software...
As for hardware crashes (what occures much more often,IMHO),nothing will replace years of experience and special equipment... I'm gonna post my recovery tips in case of hardware failures here at Windrivers forums soon, as well as I did it for BIOS recovery...(i.e. compatibility of HDD electronics replacement,HDD's repair, compatibility with written on HDD firmware, based on my experience of work with professional HDD repair complex PC3000 and so on.)...
