Diagnostics
I have tried a lot of diagnostic programs including Troubleshooter and none of them has performed to my liking. I need a diagnostic that will accurately test the RTC on the motherboard. I have one that says it passes (Troubleshooter) and one that says it fails (BCM Diagnostics) Both of them are running on DOS so I do not trust either of them.
Any suggestions?

I have tried most of the Diag programs out there and have found the same results. Even using Micro-scope or PC Technician results between the two can vary. I guess you just have to use common sense and expreience. Personally I like Dr. Hardware 2000. I guess if money is no object and I could only have one then it would be PC Technician
Good luck!! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I have been using Microscope for a few years
I have recently upgraded to the Post probe and latest edition of Microscope.
I have been well pleased.
Althought the resluts are not conclusive with other software that I have been running
The results have always pointed to the faluty hardware.
