Yes, you can open a new account under tools/accounts/add then enter in the info for you hotmail account and then when you check mail through outlook, it will check your hotmail account as well.

Not too familiar with that one, but you should be able to as long as you know the server information.

I don't suppose you would know how to find out the server info would you?

On most isp's its something to the sort of
mail.ispname.net(or com)
But other than contacing the provider, sorry you got me there. You may be able to check your mail with whatever software you use then use some sort of trace program to find the location of the server. But I dont know if that would work.

I think I found it. I created a new hotmail account through outlook and then looked under Tools-Accounts-Mail and selected the hotmail e-mail account. Next I looked under the server tab. It said
<a href="http://service.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp" target="_blank">http://service.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp</a>
I haven't tested this in Kmail (Linux) to see if it works yet though.

well I booted into Linux very hopeful......
...but it didn't work. KMail said it was an invalid server. Oh well, guess I'll have to actually goto the website now.
By the way, thanks again for the tip about the fonts in Konqueror.

Conman, did you use outlook express or outlook? and which version. A few weeks ago i went looking to do the same thing with outlook express 5(not 5.5) and said it wasn't supported until version 5.5.

I'm using WinLinux 2001. It's supposed to be compatible with Red Hat, but I think Red Hat would be easier than this. This isn't really that bad, but I'm using a "demo" version that didn't come with software support. So I'm learning everything pretty much on my own.

I'm using Outlook Express 5.50.4522.1200. I would like to use KDE's e-mail client to check my hotmail account, but nothing I've tried works so far.
