    Post linux installation

    i am installing linux on an old machine that i dont know if it works, and i am gettin a "signal 11" after which the installation exits. any ideas???

    Can you give us more info?? What do you mean by you don't if it works?? Also what version of Linux is it? When I installed Linux, I used Partition Magic to create a partitioned file system just for Linux, and a seperate swap space.
