Wink McAfee Blue Screen when accessing a certain web site

I am working on a system that when it goes to a certain web site it causes blue screens. The website is www.freeze.com (Free Email). The Error message i get is "Fatal Exception OE has occured at 0028:C15A67A3 in VXD MCSCAN32(01) + 000278A3" After that error i get " Fatal Execption OD has occured at 0246:014747FB" When i saw the MCSCAN error, i closed the McAfee programs running in the system tray and was able to get to the web site. Has seen this happen or have any advice to solve the issue? Thanks

I'm using Mcafee V4.5sp1 with latest definitions & have no problems when accessing this site. Is your antivirus updated?

The virus files are updated from 8-15. I don't think that they have the SP1 installed. But do you think that will cause a blue screen when accessing www.freeze.com. I know without the SP1 it can cause blue screen at boot, but not in IE 5.5

I know the site works with McAfee, I can access it on my PC fine. This just started to happen in about the last 2 weeks, as far as i know they haven't installed any software or any Programs that might have caused the error.

If they don't have sp1 installed for Mcafee, it wouldn't hurt to install it. You can also uninstall Mcafee & reinstall it to see if it fixes it.

If you have the whole McAfee suite just try to see if there's not some parameters that say to the browser to cancel any outgoing or ingoing communication with this site.
