I think that if you are not familliar with either os go with xp. Myself I have been using 2000 since it came out and am very familiar with it and don't plan to change. I loaded XP on a couple of systems and I am not to crazy about it. It is not as intuitive as 2000. It looks to me that KB-Toys develped the GUI. The remote advantage can be had with 2K. We have used several apps to control peoples desktops around the county from Phoenix.
