Rebooting issues with 2K, and Direct CD
I am having a problem, that a windows 2000 Pro PC, is rebooting it self. I believe that the problem has to do with adaptec EZ CD Creator or Direct CD. Thanks for the help.

I use easy CD creator without any issues(2k advanced server), however, I'll never, ever install Direct CD. I'd loose that unles you really need it.

Apparently there is a problem if you uninstall the Ezcdcreator software without installing the patch first...

Had a windows 2000 box that kept rebooting, when I would go into the event log it would say it was rebooting from a "bug check"
I did some reading on the subject and decided it was driver related, (someone found it to be Video Driver related on their sys). On mine it was the Printer as that was the only different thing between it and 2 other indentical servers. Once I updated the printer drivers the problem stopped.
I would update the drivers on any hardware, or for the CDRW, or update/patch the burning program.
Hope that Helps
Oh, and btw I use Nero to burn, but that's on my win98 boxes at home and work.
