Yeah you can do this with the "Content Advisor"
Go to "Tools", "Internet options", "Content" tab, then click enable under content advisor,
Click Settings, Put all the levels up for all catagories.. so your not restricted for nonesense stuff.. then click on "Approved Sites" tab, add the URL then click "Never"
all stoked
By the way you should put a password on it so people don't overide your settings

If you want to get rid of pop-ups, download one of these:

to stop people from looking for porn, you can use the content adviser of also you can use WinProxy, this will also allow for you to share dial up conections.

Make/Add all potential porn site url's to your Host file? ex.
127.0.0.1 <a href="http://www.allporn.com" target="_blank">www.allporn.com</a>
Copy and paste above into notepad, save file as Host (no extension) and place in your Windows folder. See Host.sam file in windows folder for more on host file. Lot of work but that'll do it!
No need to reboot, just close browser and reopen it - new Host file will be in effect.

the host file thing works exactly like i want it to, but it only blocks the allporn site.
I need it to block tons of stuff... i guess i could try and get the IP adresses from some of the porn sites, but lack the know how of getting the IPs easily.

i screwed something up... i had it so it wouldn't show the allporn site and just give an error page. Now i get it every time, must have been a fluke... any other ideas would be great.
thanks

Install Norton Internet Security and enable parental control?
