One time long ago in '99' and its much more pleasant than the wailing siren noise in other bios' warnings. I used to use DFI motherboards quite a bit back then. When you put a DFI system together and you forget to plug in the CPU fan, on power up the tune plays.

Never seen it myself, but I would have thought 'The Funeral March' would have been a more suitable tune for a system fan failure or cpu overheating, especially if you have seen theis video

Weird. My computer plays In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (the long version) whenever it gets lonely...

With AMD systems a funeral march probably wouldn't get past the second note.

Wow, that's crazy. That would be great for business though just because it is so crazy.

Customer: "I don't know what the hell my damn PC is doing. Yesterday it wasn't starting up right and when it did, it would shut down on me shortly after it did. Now the frickin' thing is spoutin' off 'It's a small world' in MIDI format"
Me: "So you're sure it was a small world and not the entertainer? Bring it in... We need to put a new power supply in for you"

Or you could code it to the specific problem that is encountered.

If the hard drive is full - It's a small world
If you've gotten a virus and your PC has crashed - The Funeral March
If you've got power supply problems - Come on baby light my fire

    Anyone got any more?

If you have video problems, maybe some hits by Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder...

Have heard that musik few times on customers PCs - mostly caused by CPU overheating or wrong "warning" settings in BIOS. Last time heard it while I was "playing" with GigaByte BX motherboard.

How about NSYNC if you are having sound problems
