    If you do decide to make your own, I advise you to pick up some split loom tubing (at an autoparts store or car audio shop) and place it around the cables instead of taping them. This lets the individual cables slide and the cable will flex. If you just tape them, they will be stiff as a board!

    actually I did use loom tubing. I agree tape what have made it a little stiff (and a little sticky)
