Looking for a good article on multipliers...
I have a paper due in my math class on my field of study, and how math is invloved with it.
I want to do it on multipliers, but am having problems finding a good source.
If i could get the name of a good book that i can get a decent article out of, or a web site, that would be great.
Thanks
MD

Multipliers? That's nothing. How about you go into the massive physics involved in the processing of infomation? Binary logic? Anything you talk about with a computer is math related. Actually, if you really want to get down to it, everything everywhere is math related... heh. Sorry... I just don't think you'll have any signifigant report-worthy information on multipliers. All they do is multiply the clock frequency of the bus by some amount to get the chip clock speed.
I didn't find anything of substance on multipliers, but there was this online, and I think it'd be easier to get a paper out of. If you need to get more info or have specific questions about how any of this works, you can email me at pkoppATmines.edu (don't want to get on any more mailing lists ). Yes, I am an engineering student. I do know how it works (at least that's the theory )

thanks alot! The first article will work great.
The report only has to be a page so that will be plenty for me to get something down on paper.
