audio loop
I recently installed XP Pro, and I keep experiencing an audio loop that sounds just like the playback of an audio cd with a scratch on it. This happens with games, internet audio and even the mouseclick. I have a Abit KR7A-RAID mobo, Soundblaster Live 5.1 Plat., XP1900 with the multiplier unlocked and all the latest drivers and bios. Rebooting temporarily solves the problem. Any incite would be appreciated.

Flabooble!
Double click the speaker icon in the systray and bring up all of the items the card supports and turn off (mute) line in, microphone and everything you don't use everyday. I have a soundblaster that makes a constant pop noise like a needle skipping on a record if I have line in (or something - I think it's line in) turned on.
Strange how I have the same Mobo and the same maker of the sound card and have problems. In the earlier version of the board there were all sorts of problems with it not working with Sounnd Blaster cards.
