XP errors lookup resources
Heya all,
I'm curious what you guys are doing with these errors that sometimes come up in XP. I had one today that booted up to a nonstop "This has recovered from a serious error, do you send blah, blah, blah". When I hit details, all it listed was a bunch of bcp... info. I've tried punching some of the bcp numbers into search engines, MS, etc. to no avail. Just curious what you guys are doing besides the standard replace the ram, check for viruses, or wipe and reload the OS solutions.

There is a known issue with system recovery error messages that begin at a reboot, and then gives you the same message after every reboot following that...Look here. Patch included.
After I loaded that fix, the number of error messages decreased dramatically, if any further error messages happened, and I couldn't deduce what the cause was...I ignored it. [There's also a tweak you can do that'll make your machine ignore the "send, don't send" message box...I installed that and since then, it's not been an issue.]
