 No internet
I am experiencing some trouble with Internet Explorer. Everytime I try to open anything related to the internet ( browsers, outlook, realjukebox, netzero), the application opens for a second, then immediately closes. I've scanned the hd, and got back zero results for viruses, and when I try to scandisk, the computer locks up. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks...

well, assuming you have tried the first step in trouble shooting (hitting the PC with a hammer) I would do this:
What version of IE are you running?... I would suggest removing all items from the temporary internet folder, and see if it continues. Easiest fix from there, is probably to install IE 5.5 I wouldnt install IE 6 just yet.

Sorry, I would also kill (or update) realjukebox (supremely bad software, if ever Ive seen any..) and probably netZero (whatever that is)
Eliminate things that are running at the same time, any online messenger programs, etc...

Run "sfc" from Start - Run. See if you have any corrupt files. If it happens with outlook and ie both, I would guess that the shdocvw.dll or inet control files are screwed up.
