2 beta or not 2 beta
that is my question with all these new releases comming out as betas what should one do load it or not for instance IE6 should i wait for the full release or play with the beta
FYA i am currently running Win ME full release althouh sometimes feels like a beta

If it's a mission critical system, then no - stay away from betas. If it's just a machine you're tinkering around on, and don't have anything vital, why not? One of my systems at home is pretty much all beta stuff, save for the OS and games. Beta drivers, beta sharewares, etc.

Like Mr. Evil said, keep beta off mission critical equipment. As long as you have a reliable backup, you can always drop back if the new software does some horrible damage.
I am going to wait until IE6 goes gold before I install it. Because of the way it integrates with the shell, uninstalling it may prove difficult if the need arises. It's only a web browser, why would you put your entire computer at risk for that?

I used Norton Ghost to "Ghost" a drive image prior to installing IE6 and haven't touched the image disc yet! about 3 weeks.

im with waldo, I always have a backup of all my critical data...but i installed IE6..no problems

Tnx for the input i already use ghost so i will just make an image first funny realy i keep forgetting about ghost might give it a go

i got ie6 for long time now and havent had a problem i use beta but just need to be carefull
