monitoring software
So my school finally made me start wearing a pager so that they can get a hold of me whenever they want. yippie But I think I'll make the best of it and get some kind of monitoring software for the servers that can ring a pager if theres a problem.
I need it to be able to monitr 10 servers all of which are either 2000 advanced server, or NT4. I'd like it to be able to monitor all the services on all of those servers, not just ping them every 30 seconds.
Anyone using any sweet software like this, or have seen any that looks good.
TIA
Milenko

Bit tricky this one..
the only thing that comes to mind, is one we use, called "Whatsup Gold".. that just polls selected boxes though, and sends us a text message on our phones when something breaks. (ie: stops responding) ..
hope you can find something dude, I'd be interested to see it.

Flabooble!
My company is currently using HP openview software to monitor the servers and will eventually go to something that will page out when things go down. I'll try to remember you when they install it to update you.
