gateway mat****a dvd drive won't work in dos
Ever since we got our gateway 450 computer, the cdrom is not reconized in dos. When i try to use the cd rom in dos a message comes across and say invalid drive. I emailed technical support for this and they said they can not help with this problem even though i have a year warrenty and we just got it 6 months ago. They said they would not help with driver issues i would have to do it myself only problem is , I have no idea how to go about it. If someone could please help i would really appreciate it.

You need to get a real mode driver
There is a universal CD-ROM driver for download on this website under Utilities.
