Remote Printing
Is anybody familiar with wireless printing solutions? A customer of ours is looking to connect a printer to a computer, but without cables, as it's being installed in a hotel kitchen.
I've checked with all our suppliers, but can't seem to track anything down. Does anyone know of a company that makes such an animal?

Only thing I've seen are Infrared devices. I know HP had a few of these models.

This is an old page, but it sounds like what you're looking for:

My personal recommendation is to get an HP laser printer with a ethernet JetDirect card and use ethernet cabling. You can run ethernet way farther than you can parallel cable.

Infrared is nice, but too bad it doesn't work beyond a 3-foot range. Read HP's page carefully.

They're using it for a receipt printer (shoulda mentioned that). One of those printers that print on the 4" wide paper.
