email problems
i have a customer that has cable internet and each time he sends a large email (attatchment or pic in the body) his computer locks up. He has called me, so without looking at it i'm not sure what the prob is. Anyone have any ideas??? Windows 98 SE, IE 5.5, he uses netscape and eudora mail.

How large of an attachment are we talking about? Netscape (especially ver. 4.6x-4.7x) does have some serious issues with sending (especially forwarding) attachments. If Netscape, make sure to choose "Inline" for sending attachments. I've found that helps a little bit. I hate Netscape.

Ah,.. a meg? That's nothin. Even for 56k. You should be alright. But as far as Eudora goes, I have no advice to offer. Never used it.

Don't use eudora or Netscape. Tell him to use internet explorer and Outlook . Netscape sucks!!!

And tell him to zip the attachment too.
Not everyone is on a cable modem or has time to wait for attachments to download (jeesh)
Besides that the issues may lie with his ISP and how they handle their mail. maybe.
