    Question Memory

This happens all the time on our 100 user network, applications start locking up or acting funny and 95% of the time a cold reboot fixes the problems, these machines are running nt4, I am wondering if the same thing is happening to our servers, they hardly ever get shut down unless a drive fails or the doc server locks up, lately the network has been slow and none of the servers has been rebooted,

Sounds like one or more of your apps has a memory leak. Make sure that all service packs and updates for your apps and OS are installed.

It is also a good idea to cycle the power on your servers about once a month to allow the system cache to close and recreate completely, to allow you to install and test service packs and check the error logs, atc...
