    Post SIS & VISIONEER

    DOES ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAVING TROUBLES WITH VISONEER 6100 USB SCANNER AND A MB WITH SIS CHIPSET? NO COMMUNICATION FROM SCANNER TO USB PORT

    I had the same problem with UMAX scanner. Look inside Device Manager/System Devices/Then clik on PCI Bus/Properties/IRQ Steering see if it is disabled if it is it won't work! I can't find out how to enable it. Best of luck.
