need some serial connectors
Work is taking a bunch of p133 and p166's out of inventory. I plain on taking quite a few with me. I picked up my first today, and went to work on it. the problem I'm running into is that since these were POS store servers that ran unix, there are no comm ports or printer ports. The headers are on the board, but no connectors. I used to have a ton of these in bags with other junk from stripping systems down. but I threw them away a few months ago. Is there any one else out there whose a pack rat and may have a few comm port cables and printer port cables that connect to AT motherboard headers. The board is a tyan titan III. I tried the one and only set I had tonight, (from a newer pc-chips atx form factor board -3726 I believe) but the pin outs must be different because it's not picking up the serial mouse. can anyone help?

Only board I've seen with a different pin-out on the serial port was a PC-Chips TXpro-II.
It'd probably cost more than the board is worth to ship over the connectors(if I can even find the right ones).

There are two different type of pinouts for AT COM cables. So, it's possible to resolder that cable.
One of them is soldered as follows (9-pin connector's side):
1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9
Another one:
1 3 5 7 9
2 4 6 8
I remember I have sent to someone at Windrivers forums two pictures of those cables, but at this moment I can't find them in my collection. May be that man is now reading these posts .
