I would assume so, during my internship at a local store in my home town, we went to a docter's office that had a computer that was acting quite funny. It would get super slw when they wanted to use it and the screen wabbled.

We figured it was the X-ray machine next door causing the interferance....

It could be done, but led sheets would have to be added around or in the case to prevent damage to the harddrives, ect...

    Cool

It probably isn't so much the X-rays that would cause the problem but the dip in power when the X-ray machine was operating. The only machine at our hospital that seems to affect any of the nearby computers is the MRI (Magnetic-Resonance Imaging) for obvious reasons. After a while, you don't even notice the odd colors on the screens.
I don't work at the hospital, but I do service work for the Radiologists that have their offices in the hospital near the MRI. I also do service for many of the Dentists in the area (lots of X-ray machines in use) and they have not had any problems with the X-ray machines. One of the Dentists actually keeps a laptop in the X-ray room to download and save images to Zip disk.
