Win95 Upgrade
Current system is Win95b on older mb. New MB is USB capable with SIS 5513 chipset. Conversion to new MB went fine with exception of USB supplement. When installing usb supplement which starts with scandisk it keeps on reinitalizing and won't complete. Scandisk runs fine outside of usb install.
I have tried tech web and no help.

I wish I knew what I was doing.

Close all other programs running, before you start the USB patch.

Have you tried installing it in safe mode? I know I've had to do this with other Microsoft software then reboot to activate it.
While you're in safe mode remove the phantoms from device manager. That helps too.
