    Post AOL causes screen to flicker

    I have customer that has a problem that when you going into AOL his screen flickers off and no the entire time he am in AOL. This doesn't always happen, but it usually does. The PC does work fine in other apps, like excel with out any problems but as soon as you click on the AOL windows on the task bar the screen acts up. I was think that the refresh rate could be causing the issue but i would like to know if anyone else has seen or heard this happen. Thanks

    I'd like to begin by stating that I am pulling this answer out of my *** .

    *ahem*

    It's definitely not the refresh rate. If it was, the screen would flicker 100% of the time. My best guess would be that AOL is using the video driver in a very odd way, or windows is having serious issues. Try reinstalling the video driver and AOL.
