ICS Winxp - enabled at 3.2 mbps on lan with NO ICS???

Hey aLL!

I noticed my network speeds were a little flakey tonight, and when I opened network connections i found (to my surprise) Internet Connection running above my network connection.

Now - I don't use ics, but winxp wants it there really bad. I can't delete it and it says that it's 'connected' at 3.2mbps! The speed is way slower than the cable modem I have (8 mbps). If i disable it - I can't surf...

Here's my 'rough' setup -
winxp client and win2k adv server on linksys router. NO domain, but i have dns, iis, mail server, ftp running on server. Win xp only connects to shared files on server - so what the hell? - I'm almost ready to reset the ipstack on my xp box...

Any Help would be great!

I think I found another peice o the puzzle...When I shut down my winxp box...my w2k server can't surf!!! The server is now (somehow) dependant on the winxp box as the gateway?...the server nic ip address is configured to use the router as the gateway...man what a mess.
