system reboots with multimonitor support
I have recently been playing around with multimonitor support. I am using a voodoo banshee card as the primary video card and I am currently using a 4mb pci S3 virge as a secondary video card. when I drag anything from my primary monitor to my secondary monitor, the system will automaticly reboot.
I have tried updating both video drivers and I have tried using several other secondary PCI video cards.
It would seem to me as if the problem is related to my secondary video card, because the system is fine as long as I am working in the #1 monitor. I can move the mouse around the #2 monitor without rebooting but when I do anything more than that it will allways reboot the system.
Any suggestions? Better secondary PCI video cards to use?
Thanks in advance!

I've used a lot of combinations of cards for multi-monitor but never anything like what you're experiencing. I would go search the MS Knowledge Base on this one.
p.s. After all my tests, I've settled on ATI cards in multi-display setups.

S3 cards rarely work as secondary cards, and when they do work you get wonderful result such as what you are seeing. Even the banshee isn't the greatest card for multimon. I agree with Sowulo that ATI cards are good for multimon, so are matrox cards. Nvidia has too many memory leaks when working in multimon so stay away from them for the time being.
