HP 6736 cd rom replacement
How the hell do i get close enough to the right side of a cd rom in an HP 6736 computer?
It looks as though the motherboard base blocks access to the screws....I can only suspect that I have to pull the motherboard????
This is one of those really small cases...help!ASAP!!!
Thanks....

next time you may want to post this type of question in tech-to-tech.

A sledge hammer, sulfuric acid, and an axe do very nicely, too..

Go here for the <a href="http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=modinfo&model=P2907A" target="_blank">parts breakdown for your Pavilion</a>. Click on the link for All Parts...
Also, that previous link was good, but this gives <a href="http://www.hp.com/cposupport/personal_computing/support_doc/bph05646.html" target="_blank">full details/hints on replacing the CD-ROM drive</a>. Hopefully, it will all help you out...
Good Luck!
