[RESOLVED] yamaha cdr400t problem

internal scsi (standard adeptec card) under win 98. all drivers/firmware are up to date. in order to get the drive to work i have to add hardware twice. i start the control panel it searches and finds nothing, you press back it searches again and finds the drive and then everythings peachy. its always done this and always two times. its quite odd. all drivers/firmware are up to date. after adding hardware twice the drive functions smoothly. if you restart the process must be repeated in order to gain controll of the drive once more. any suggestions, theories, ideas, anything of the sort? or is the drive posessed? i appreciate any and all help, thank you.

the usual ...are you sure you have the absolute correct driver

and the next would be is the scsi sharing irq address.....if so you may have to change its irq
