[RESOLVED] Self Closing MS Office 2000

I downloaded the SR 1 service patch to MS office 2k. After it installed it, none of my office apps work except Front Page. The program will open and load, as soon as its done loading, it will close. CTRL+ALT+DEL, reveals the program IS NOT running. anyone else have this problem? why does it do this?
Im downloading SR 1a right now in the hope that, that will fix the damn thing. I also ran the repair feature from the CD and still nothing. If anyone has any ideas as to the problem or the cure PLEASE let me know ASAP.
As of right now i have no E-Mail or Office capability at all.

Seems i found the problem ! Its just like MS to change a product's CD for a Service Release after you've already spent money on the original.

If the repair didn't work, I think you may have to reinstall Office altogether. We run O2K at work and I have it at home but have never run into your problem before. Maybe someone else has.
If you do reinstall it, copy your custom.dic file (if using a custom dictionary), your outcmd.dat and profile from outlook. Also would play it safe and copy your .pst and personal address book to a safe spot. If you have any templates in outlook or word you might want to do the same.
